Dr. Rajkannan.P is an Associate Professor and Pain Specialist who holds a specialty in Dry Needing Technique. With about 13 years of experience in physical therapy field, he has some exceptional success stories in treating patients with musculoskeletal ailments. He is the Founder of Dry Needling Association, by which he teaches and trains Dry Needling Technique to physiotherapists. Till now, he has taught dry needling technique to about 250 PTs in India. Currently he is authoring a book on "Dry Needling Technique" and is also actively involved in various research activities. Apart from dry needling, he is expert in Trigger Point Release, Muscle Energy Technique, IASTM, Anatomy Train Concepts, Taping and Muscle Palpation Skills.
Mr. Mohamed Kassim is a physiotherapist with over 14 years of experience. He is currently a physiotherapist and Manual Therapist working in Brunei. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 1999 and pursued his higher studies in Orthopedic Manual therapy obtaining a Manual therapy certification from Curtin University, Australia in 2007. One of his interests is Cranio Mandibular and cervical region. He has now opened an academy named MK Academy of Cranio-Mandibular & Cervical Therapeutics, which soon will be certifying therapist to specialize in TMJ, Cervical including Headache & Migraine management. Mr. Mohamed also conducts workshops on IASTM and TMD management in India and Malaysia.

I met Dr. Jain in 2009, where I was diagnosed with L4 & L5 Disc Prolapse. My doctor advised me bed rest for two months. This was a challenge for me as I had a lot of work schedule commitments. There was a hectic shooting scheduled over the period of two months. I was referred to Dr. Jain who assessed me thoroughly and assured me of the recovery within the given time. With his hands-on treatment, along with mobilization and manipulation techniques, he gave me relief of the next three weeks. He also performed the dry needling therapy as well as taped my back before every shoot. This turned out to be extremely helpful and effective, helped me stick to my commitments and complete my shoot. I still continue to reach out to Dr. Jain for any medical emergency or advice, and he always promptly responds with a well-planned rehab program or solution as required.
I’ve known Dr. Vinod Jain from 2007 when he joined the Karnataka State Cricket Association as a team physiotherapist. I was training in a practice match and got injured while running between the wickets. I met the orthopedician. He asked for an MRI which showed an ACL tear. He immediately recommended surgery. I was apprehensive of surgery and took a decision to go with physiotherapy for few sessions. Dr. Vinod Jain did a superb job with a few sessions and I was able to finish my Ranji trophy season with some taping and regular rehab which he continued through the tournament. Not only did he help me recover completely, but I was able to avoid surgery and even got selected into the IPL. I play for the Mumbai Indians and still continue to reach out to Dr. Jain on a regular basis to maintain my fitness levels.
Being an IT professional, I suffered from severe RSI (repetitive strain injury) for over 4 months. Constant shoulder pain and shooting pain down the neck and all the way to my right hand were some of the symptoms that i suffered from. I consulted multiple doctors & physiotherapists across the city, who gave me different treatments and prescribed various medication. But even after 4 months, there was no improvement. I was recommended to see Dr. Vinod Jain by my sister, who had a successful experience. Dr. Vinod spent an hour getting to know me, my lifestyle and my history. Based on the provided information, he diagnosed my condition as severe RSI. Not only did he diagnose me, like other doctors, but also patiently went through a detailed anatomical explanation of the issue, and causes and prevention. Post this, he first started with Manual Therapy for a few sessions where he mobilized some of the stiff areas, and then later moved on to few sessions with ultra sound treatment. Post this, we graduated to strength training towards the end of the treatment. Now pain-free with all these treatments, my belief in Dr. Jain and his method of practice has increased tremendously, and I am referring to everyone I know to the structure of this mode of practice.
